Economic hardship affects more than a family’s ability to meet daily needs. It can affect confidence, decision-making, stability, and the future of an entire household.
Empower for More Initiative supports widows, disadvantaged youth, and underserved families with practical programs that help them build income, manage resources more effectively, and make informed financial decisions.
Our economic empowerment work focuses on giving people the tools to create or strengthen sources of income. This may include financial literacy sessions, small business guidance, livelihood support, savings education, enterprise mentorship, and income-building initiatives that respond to the realities of each community.
For a widow, this support may mean gaining the confidence and guidance to restart a trade or grow a small business. For a young person, it may mean learning how to turn effort and skill into income. For a vulnerable family, it may mean understanding how to plan better, save intentionally, and make more effective use of limited resources.
We believe empowerment should go beyond one-time assistance. It should equip people with knowledge, support, and practical tools they can continue using long after the program ends.
